4J Studios has previously revealed that Title Update 13 for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will fix a numerous bugs found within the block building title. The developer confirmed on Monday that work on the update will be finished later this week and then the patch will be sent for certification testing to make sure the content is ready to download over Xbox Live.
Even though Title Update 12 just released a few weeks ago, 4J Studios already has a new update almost out because the latest patch is only bringing bug fixes and game tweaks rather than new content. One confirmed feature of TU13 is that players will find all mine cart speed to be doubled. A change log should also become available later this week for fans to see the changes that are being made to the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is now available in stores in addition to digital downloads after the title received a physical retail disc release in June. After support was added inside Title Update 12, console games can also now change the game’s texture packs for the first time.
