A representative at 4J Studios have posted more updates regarding several elements of the open-world sandbox video game, “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” According to a short exchange through Twitter on Sept. 16, a fan was curious about any potential news regarding the upcoming TU13 patch.
The representative responded by saying that the development of the title update should be completed by the end of this week. The TU13 patch will then be sent to Microsoft for certification testing. We're finishing up on TU13 (bug fix update) this week. Then it just needs to go through testing.
The development team previously revealed that the TU13 patch will mainly address several glitches in the console port of “Minecraft.” The title update is also going to increase the speed of mine carts.
Another fan was curious about when the next set of texture packs will be revealed. The representative stated that players won’t have to wait “too much later” as the first of set of various texture packs is nearly finished. You can find the full statement from Twitter below:
Not too much longer. We have a few different styles of texture packs in development, and the first is close to completion.
The first texture pack was based on the “Mass Effect” franchise and was released as a part of the mash-up pack for “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.”
