According to a 4J Studios tweet, the developer should be done with coding Title Update 13 (TU13) this week. That means it will be released to Xbox LIVE either next week or the following week depending on how long Microsoft's certification testing process takes.
Several bugs ranging from minecart speed, mob heads spinning around wildly, graphical glitches around cocoa pods, lighting issues and sound issues were noted by QA Tester Steven Woodward as items that 4J Studios were looking at on Minecraftforum.net.
The first texture pack is "close to completion" as well with 4J Studios saying they have a few different styles in development. No details yet but the developer did tease "something fishy."
The first texture pack release for Minecraft on the Xbox 360 will be a generic release. 4J Studios still has some legal stuff to work out before bringing over any PC texture packs as well as themes for the next Mash-up Pack. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Halo, Call of Duty, Star Wars and Borderlands were the most requested themes for the next pack to follow the recent Mass Effect Mash-up Pack.
