4J Studios is still unsure as to when the upcoming TU12 patch will be released for “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” A spokesperson posted another short update through the company’s official Twitter page on Aug. 19. Unfortunately, the message remained the same as the one they have posted four days ago. An official release date for the next title update remains uncertain. 4J Studios will be providing the details once they get the news from Microsoft. You can check out the comments below:
As soon as we know when TU12 is coming out, we'll let you know. #MinecraftXBLA
4J Studios sent the TU12 patch to Microsoft for certification ten days ago. The title update is apparently still going through the process, which meant that a release date cannot be determined at this time.
The development company previously stated that they had to rebuild a big portion of the software architecture in order to add the new contents and features with the newest version of “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” A representative also mentioned that they had to fix a lot of glitches.
The TU12 patch included so many changes that a new tutorial world had to be added in. The console port of “Minecraft” can now support mash-up and texture packs in addition to increasing the build height limit to 256 blocks. You can check out a set of screens from the title update, as well as other shots from “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition,” in the slideshow near the top of this article.
