4J Studios dropped details Wednesday on the next Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition update. Unfortunately, Title Update 11 (TU11) will be another bug fix release to fix nagging issues that have hung around since TU9.
Slowdowns in Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition caused by explosions have turned into a major issue since TU9. It was supposed to be fixed with the TU10 release but has continued to cause problems for players.
"The explosion issue is a bad one, so we're going to release a bug fix update for that and a few other things," 4J Studios said on Twitter.
There will be more bug fixes in TU11 including a fix to the messaging system to prevent spamming other players with the Spawn Egg message. Issues with spawn limits will also be fixed, new messages will be added and there will be an increase in the number of item frames that can be placed in the world will be fixed.
So why no new features?
"Features will take much longer, and the explosion issue is spoiling the game for a lot of people just now," 4J Studios explained.
No window was given on when TU11 will be released. It's also unknown if this will affect the recently delayed retail release.
