4J Studios has now officially sent Title Update 13 for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition to Microsoft in order to undergo certification testing to see if the patch is ready for download via Xbox Live. On Sept 20, the developer combined the announcement alongside the public reveal of the full list of changes that fans will see coming to the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft with TU13.
Title Update 13 focuses on gameplay tweaks and bug fixes rather than adding new content. This includes numerous graphical and sound fixes in instances where proper animations were failing to fire or sound effects were disabled. Additionally, other notable changes involve the ability to properly gain experience from successful animal breeding, all mine cart speeds will be doubled, and zombies will no longer incorrectly spawn inside buildings with closed doors. Players can view the official post now to see the full list of changes.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is out now. Title Update 13 is now currently in certification. The patch should become available for download shortly after it has passed the test.
