Microsoft announced today on Play XBLA that the upcoming “Minecraft: Xbox 360 EditionSkin Pack 4 will be releasing this Wednesday and will cost 160 Microsoft Points. The latest set of “Minecraft” skins on Xbox 360 will bring numerous popular gaming characters for players to use as their avatars for “Minecraft” on the Xbox Live Arcade.

Skin Pack 4 will allow players to use skins from the “Borderlands,” “Assassin’s Creed,” and “Halo” franchises among many others. Since Xbox 360 players can’t reskin their own avatars in “Minecraft” like PC player can, these skin packs are the only way for Xbox Live Arcade players to be able to change their in-game appearance in “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.”

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” is now available to download via Xbox Live Arcade on the Xbox 360. The game’s Skin Pack 4 will be available to purchase for 160 Microsoft Points starting this Wednesday.
