The developer of “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” has made several more comments in regards to the launch date of the first mash-up pack. A spokesperson from 4J Studios revealed during a conversation with a fan from Twitter on Aug. 30 that “lawyers” were the reason why the first mash-up DLC has not yet been released. The company originally promised to release the expansion shortly after updating the console port of “Minecraft” with the TU12 patch.
However, players won’t have to wait that much longer in order to get a glimpse at the first mash-up pack. The same representative also mentioned that a trailer, which is being produced at Hat Films, will be coming out at the end of this week. You can take a look at the statement below (courtesy of the official 4J Studios Twitter page):
We're looking forward to the release of the trailer for the first Mash-up Pack this Sunday! Thanks @hat_films :) #MinecraftXBLA
