More comments have been made by 4J Studios in regards to the elusive release date of the TU12 patch for “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” In an exchange from the company’s official Twitter page on Aug. 21, a fan asked if the studio knows the “true” date for the title update. A spokesperson responded by stating that they have “never given a date for TU12.” You can check out the response below:
We've never given a date for TU12, and when we know the date, we'll let everyone know.
The spokesperson also provided an explanation as to why they can’t predict the release date for the TU12 patch for “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” He implied that 4J Studios would receive a big backlash from fans if their prediction turned out to be wrong. You can find the statement in regards to the prediction subject from the 4J Studios Twitter page below.
Can you imagine the tweets we'd get if we predicted a date, and it was wrong? Best not to do predictions :)
4J Studios sent the TU12 patch to Microsoft approximately two weeks ago. The console manufacturer is currently testing the title update to make sure it is ready for release through the Xbox Live service. A date could not be announced due to this procedure.
In addition to updating “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition,” 4J Studios is also responsible for porting “Minecraft” to the upcoming Xbox One next-generation gaming platform. You can take a look at a selection of screens from “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” in the slideshow near the top of this article.
