"Minecraft" is known for the far out antics by its community members to create an insanely cool piece of block art or ingenious contraption. However, we can't recall a wilder minecart ride than the "Minecart of Malice" video that 4J Studios shared out on Monday for the Xbox 360 version of the game.
The "Minecart of Malice" was created in the "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition" Creative Mode by Rivergrl21 and Nuropsych1. According to Nuropsych1, it is an "epic family build" that started out as "a simple haunted house but morphed into this huge monstrosity that we constantly tweek and add to."
The nearly eight minute video shows how the ride takes players on a ride with plenty of sharp turns, steep drops, trippy tunnels and showcase structures based on "Alice in Wonderland" among others.
The video is an impressive Monday night palate cleanser as we prepare to hear the news from 4J Studios on Title Update 8 for the "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition." The developer is submitting the update to Microsoft for release approval some time this week and we should hear about all the fixes that are coming then.
