The Fantasy Texture Pack adds a new medieval theme to the look of the open-world sandbox video game. Players can download a trial version of the DLC for free. However, they won’t be able to save their progress unless they purchase the pack for $1.00.

4J Studios hinted last week that the development team was releasing a new “secret” texture pack soon. The Fantasy Texture Pack appears to be the DLC they were hinting at. You can find a set of screenshots from the downloadable content, as well as other images from “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition,” in the slideshow to the left of this article.

Along with the DLC, the development team is also getting ready to release the PS3 port of “Minecraft.” After the bugs are fixed, they are planning to send the final code to Sony Computer Entertainment for approval. 4J Studios should then focus on the TU14 patch for “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” along with the announced PS4, Playstation Vita and Xbox One ports.

The Xbox 360 version first came out as a downloadable tile in 2012. The retail disc iteration was release earlier this year.
