Joining the list of licensed skins that are heading to the game, fans of the Undead Labs’ Xbox Live Arcade zombie survival game are in for some good news after the developer announced on June 18 that the next skin pack DLC for Minecraft will feature new playable avatars based on State of Decay survivors.

Undead Labs shared with fans that Skin Pack 6 will offer gamers the opportunity to play Minecraft as iconic characters from the studio’s popular zombie title. Included in the add-on are new Minecraft skins representing the first playable survivors from State of Decay’s story campaign. Skin Pack 6 will also feature a skin based on State of Decay’s well-known “Shark Hoodie Guy” in addition to the starter heroes of Marcus, Maya, and Ed.

The newly announced State of Decay avatar skins are the latest revealed additions of the skin pack DLC that will appear exclusively on Xbox editions of Minecraft. While the Xbox One version of the game won’t release until later this summer, 4J Studios has alreadly confirmed that Skin Pack 6 will be available on the new console when the game launches.

Minecraft’s next skin pack release will also feature new playable avatars from several other video game franchises in addition to characters from the Xbox Live zombie title. Included in the DLC will be skins representing characters from Killer Instinct, Trials Fusion, and Mirror’s Edge: Faith with even more skins expected to be announced soon.

Despite the fact that Minecraft is out now on PS3 and coming soon to the PS4 and PS Vita, Skin Pack 6 will only be available on Microsoft platforms due to the add-on’s inclusion of various characters from Xbox exclusive titles like State of Decay and Killer Instinct. A release date has not yet been announced for the new DLC.
