Roger Carpenter has clarified some of the visual differences between "Minecraft PS4 Edition" and "Minecraft Xbox One Edition." According to a report from Gameranx on July 4, the game producer from Microsoft Studios was asked by fans if the open-world game will be running 60 frames per second at the native 1080p resolution. The enthusiasts were concerned that the Xbox One game may not perform as well from a graphics standpoint as the PS4 title.

Roger Carpenter responded by saying that 4J Studios will be keeping both next-generation versions equal in terms of visuals. As a result, "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" should end up running at a frame rate clip of 60 while displaying a native resolution of 1080p simultaneously. The same features have been previously confirmed for "Minecraft PS4 Edition."

The open-world sandbox game do not seem to be a demanding title based on its looks. The software product features pixilated blocky graphics that resemble early 3D polygon experiences. However, "Minecraft" does have some complexity in terms of gameplay. Players can gather resources from the environments to build complex structures. The video game has already sold 54 million units although it hasn't been released on the PS4, Vita and Xbox One. In fact, the console versions managed to outsold the original PC game with "Minecraft PS3 Edition" selling 1.5 million copies while "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" accounted for 12 million units as well. The same game is also making a killing through mobile devices.

The sales will be increasing rapidly as a lot of customers are willing to take advantage of several offers. For example, "Minecraft PS3 Edition" and "Minecraft Vita Edition" are being bundled together at no additional costs. As a result, the current PS3 players can download the handheld game for free. Furthermore, the same customers can upgrade to "Minecraft PS4 Edition" for $4.99. The limited-time promotion is also being offered for current "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" who wants to upgrade to "Minecraft Xbox One Edition."
