Sony also revealed that Minecraft on PS3 instantly shot to the top of the sales charts for the console as soon as the game launched.
Additionally, 4J Studios has revealed that they might have found a solution to the issues causing PS3 players to experience corrupted game saves as the developer announced that they are currently testing a possible fix to the bug.
Also becoming the best sold Playstation Network titles in December for Sony’s other gaming systems included Terraria for the PS Vita and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in the Classics category. As for Playstation 4 game sales, if digital upgrades which allow gamers to turn their PS3 games into next-gen titles are taking in account, then Call of Duty: Ghosts was the best selling PS4 game of December on the Playstation Network. However, it just straight game purchases without counting digital upgrades are tallied, then Battlefield 4 earned the number one spot on the Playstation 4.
Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition is out now as available only as a digital download from the Playstation Network. The game’s festive skin pack release was also the most downloaded PS3 add-on for last month.
