Not wanting to take a break on the weekend before Christmas, 4J Studios released a new patch for the recently released PS3 version of Minecraft today. The developer announced on Dec 21 that Patch 1.02 is now being made available for download to all North American regions. The patch fixes a number of audio issues that players may have encountered within the sandbox creation game such as audio chat failures.
4J Studios is still looking to identify other issues inside the PS3 version of Minecraft and are asking fans for their help. Gamers have been urged to report any additional bugs they encounter within Minecraft: PS3 Edition by posting them on the official Minecraft forums.
Minecraft: PS3 Edition finally released this past week after 4J Studios successfully launched Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition last year, which has gone on to sale 10 million copies to date. The developer is also currently working on bringing the popular game to other platforms as versions of the title are also now in the works for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PS Vita.
