Owen Hill has provided a comparison between “Minecraft: PS3 Edition” and “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” According to a post from the Official U.S Playstation Blog on Dec. 16, the representative from Mojang revealed that one of the most asked questions from Playstation fans was regarding whether or not the upcoming port will “feature everything” from the other versions of the open-world sandbox video game.
Owen Hill reassured the enthusiasts that “Minecraft: PS3 Edition” includes all of the contents from the “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” He also promised that the two current-generations are “pretty much identical to play” and should be developed simultaneously from this point forward. Minecraft: PS3 Edition comes with everything present in other console versions. They’re pretty much identical to play, and will be developed in tandem from now on.
“Minecraft: PS3 Edition” will be released in North American on Dec. 17, which is approximately 18 months after the launch of “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” The port was developed by 4J Studios, the same company that is also working on the PS4, Playstation Vita and Xbox One versions of the open-world sandbox video game.
“Minecraft” first launched in later 2011 for the PC and other platforms. The popular title has sold over 30 million copies combined so far.
