The “Minecraft PS3 Edition” and “Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition” TU14 patch has received a new development update. According to a report from Cinema Blend on Feb. 26, 4J Studios disclosed that a lot of fans have been asking about the 14th main title update for the console port of “Minecraft.”

The development team stated that they are busy with adding new contents to TU14 patch along with fixing several glitches. As a result, the title update is still several weeks away from being submitted to Microsoft Studios and Sony Computer Entertainment for testing before an official release date could be announced. Lots of people asking about TU14! We're busy finalising the content, and bug fixing. A few weeks to go before it's ready for Cert testing.

Before a patch is released, it would have to go through certification testing by the console manufacturer. This process can take anywhere from several days to weeks.

TU14 will add several new features to “Minecraft PS3 Edition” and “Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition.” Players will be getting an adventure mode along with anvils, emeralds, temples and multiple food items.

Along with the new patch for the two current-generation console versions, the development team is also working on “Minecraft PS4 Edition,” “Minecraft Vita Edition” and “Minecraft Xbox One Edition.” The three forthcoming console ports should come out later in 2014.
