More TU14 patch details have been posted for “Minecraft PS3 Edition” and “Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition.” According to a report from International Business Times on Feb. 27, 4J Studios hinted that the 14th main title update for the console versions of “Minecraft” will feature dyed armor and wolf collar.
Players will be able to use items to change the color of their attire with the TU14 patch. In the PC version of the sandbox video game, up to 16 paint options are available for armor customization. The colors can be extracted from items found in the various biomes.
One of items that can be customized is the wolf collar. Players are able to tame some of the animals as domesticate pets. Although the default color for the collars is red, the item could be dyed to different colors. You can find a screen showcasing the new features, along with other images from “Minecraft PS3 Edition” and “Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition,” in the slideshow to the left side of this article.
4J Studios recently stated that the TU14 patch is still at least several weeks away from release as the development team is still working on the new contents in addition to fixing several glitches. The 14th main title update will then have to be tested by Microsoft Studios and Sony Computer Entertainment before the file could be sent to the players to download.
“Minecraft PS4 Edition,” “Minecraft Vita Edition” and “Minecraft Xbox One Edition” are also in development at 4J Studios.
