‘Minecraft’ fans can now download the Marvel’s Avengers Skin Pack on Xbox 360

Announced just last week, 4J Studios has now released the Marvel’s Avengers Skin Pack DLC for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition which gives fans dozens of new character avatar options based upon characters from the popular comic book and movie franchise. The official Xbox Live Arcade website announced the launch of the add-on on Monday which players can now download for $2.99.

The latest skin pack addition to the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft introduces 35 new player skins that allow fans to play the popular block building title while dressed as their favorite Avengers character such as Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, and more. Those who prefer the infamous comic book villains will be pleased to discover that the DLC also comes with new skins based on Loki, Red Skull, and a Hydra Agent.

The Avengers Skin Pack is now available to download via Xbox Live Arcade. 4J Studios has not yet revealed whether the licensed DLC will eventually be launching on the recently released PS3 edition of Minecraft or not. The developer has previously stated that they will begin releasing skin and texture packs for Minecraft: PS3 Edition shortly after its release, so players will simply have to wait for further news.
