The next two standalone texture packs for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition have now been named by 4J Studios as separate upcoming releases. The developer confirmed on Friday that the first of the two is called a plastic texture pack, while the second will bring more natural textures to the popular block building title. Fans will be given their first look at the upcoming packs next week.
4J Studios also revealed that a medieval themed texture pack is also in the works for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, but both the plastic and natural themed packs will release first. This news could be another mention at the console version of Minecraft’s second mash-up pack which the developer has already hinted at the possibility of featuring a Skyrim crossover. The studio has previously teased that Skyrim is the most fan requested game for the next mash-up pack and reminded gamers that they have a great relationship with Bethesda as they were responsible for porting The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to the Playstation 3.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is now available in stores or through digital download.
