Once 4J Studios has fixed all bugs in TU14, the patch will be delivered to Microsoft and Sony to undergo certification tests before being released on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network respectively. The developer confirmed that it won’t be much longer before the update will be ready for this final step before release.

Title Update 14 will bring Adventure Mode to Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the popular block-building title. This new way to play Minecraft introduces a questing system alongside the ability to trade with NPC villagers and enchant items with anvils.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is out now on Xbox Live and in stores thanks a physical retail disc release that launched last summer. 4J Studios also finally released a PS3 version of Minecraft at the end of 2013 which is now available as a digital-only download via the PS Store. The developer also plans to bring the sandbox creation game to next-gen systems as Xbox One and PS4 editions of Minecraft are currently in the works.
