‘Minecraft’ dev hints at teleportation and invisibility options in new update

4J Studios likes to leave fans clues to upcoming features for the console editions of Minecraft via screenshot teases left on their official Twitter account. Future DLC releases and content updates have been revealed in this way numerous times. As reported by Motoring Crunch on March 13, the developer has continued this trend after they recently released a screen which teased upcoming additions once more.

The developer slyly asked for translations to a screenshot they released which showed new game options displayed in Swedish. It didn’t take long for fans to translate the screens which revealed that they mysterious Minecraft menu revealed optional check boxes for teleportation, invisibility, and more. It is unknown at this time exactly when these features will be added to the console versions of the popular block-building game. It is possible that the new options could be a part of upcoming Title Update 14, however, 4J Studios isn’t commenting at this time.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is out now and can be downloaded from Xbox Live Arcade or purchased in stores. A PS3 version of the game also launched in December of 2013 and is available as a digital-only download from the PS Store.
