Like all Minecraft skin packs before it, the Avengers Skin Pack DLC will allow fans to change the appearance of their in-game avatars within Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. As the name suggests, the upcoming add-on will introduce several new player skins based upon the Marvel characters made famous by the popular comics and movies. Players will also receive the option to play as well-known villains, such as Loki, in addition to the franchise’s famed heroes. The pack contains 35 new skins in total.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is out now. The Avengers Skin Pack doesn’t have an official release date at this time. No word has been given as to whether the DLC will also be heading to the recently released Playstation 3 version of Minecraft, but 4J Studios has stated that skin and texture pack add-ons will make their way to the PS3 edition soon so it is likely that owners of the Sony platform will eventually receive the DLC.
