It’s been a sad week in country music news after hearing the details surrounding the Feb. 17 death of singer Mindy McCready. In recent news, TMZ reported exclusive information on Feb. 20 that Mindy McCready was never a suspect in boyfriend David Wilson’s death; despite reports.
On Jan. 14 Mindy McCready found her boyfriend, and father to nine month-old son Zayne, on the front porch of the Arkansas home. Jan. 29 McCready was still in mourning when sources started to speculate that she had something to do with his mysterious death, despite the fact the death had been ruled a suicide.
McCready was ordered by a judge to enter rehab. Just a few short days later she was released only to commit suicide in the same spot Wilson had taken his own life one month prior. She also shot the family dog. According to the TMZ report Sheriff Marty Moss stated that McCready never changed her story so the reports of “holes” in the story and case were false. He goes on to say Mindy was never a suspect or person of interest.
