Mindy McCready shot dog: Both ‘found dead next to one another’

The fact that Mindy McCready shot her boyfriend’s dog before shooting herself has many people wonder whether she shot the dog because he was the one who found the bullet that killed David Wilson or because she wanted them all to be together in death as they were in life. If Mindy McCready’s two children, 9-month-old Zayne and 6-year-old Zander would have been home with her instead of being in foster care, would she have killed the children also in order to be together?

According to a Feb. 18, 2013, Fox News report, Cleburne County Sheriff Marty Moss said on Monday that David Wilson’s dog and Mindy McCready were found next to one another on the front porch of the home where David Wilson had died on Jan. 13, 2013.

“The dog and McCready were found dead next to one another the home in Heber Springs, a vacation community about 65 miles north of Little Rock. Moss says the dog's body was next to McCready's.”

For anyone looking for clues as to whether Mindy McCready shot David Wilson’s dog because she loved the dog or because she hated the dog, maybe knowing where the dog was found might provide some insight.

The fact that the dog’s dead body was not found somewhere else in the house or somewhere in the woods but right next to Mindy McCready speaks more than words can say.

If she was angry at David Wilson’s dog because he had found the bullet that killed David Wilson, it appears highly unlikely that Mindy McCready would have chosen to shoot the dog right next to her and right before she apparently shot herself.

Who would want to die next to someone or something that they hated?

While the circumstances surrounding David Wilson’s suicide are still clouded in mystery, maybe the fact that McCready shot her boyfriend’s dog right next to her might shed at least some light on the reason for the death of David Wilson’s dog; to be together.
