Much mystery still surrounds the death of Mindy McCready’s boyfriend, David Wilson. However, according to a Jan. 29 Perez Hilton report, Mindy says she didn’t do it.
Wilson died of a gunshot wound earlier this month. Police do not have a suspect in the case. It is currently unknown if the shot was self-inflicted or if it was a homicide. Tests should reveal the answer to that question within a few weeks.
In the meantime, police are turning over every stone and questioning the victim’s romantic partner is a normal part of the process. McCready said, “Oh, my God, no. He was my life,” when asked if she killed David.
Mindy is clearly grieving for the father of her son, saying she’s never gone through anything so painful. McCready said she started screaming and called 911 when she found Wilson. Then Mindy laid down next to David and begged him now to die.
Mindy McCready has had more drama in her life than even Lindsay Lohan. McCready's struggles have included affairs, arrests, a sex tape scandal, a suicide attempt, a stint in rehab and losing custody of her son. It seemed like Mindy had finally found peace and happiness with David Wilson, however, his death just adds another tragedy to the country singer’s life.
