Country music star Mindy McCready's boyfriend was found dead two weeks ago. On Jan. 29 US Weekly reports that in a new interview with NBC's Dateline, McCready talks about losing record producer and boyfriend David Wilson to an apparent suicide.
In the interview, Mindy McCready calls this tragedy the most "painful" thing that she has ever encountered in her life. McCready and Wilson had a child together, 9-month-old Zayne. McCready has another son, Zander, from a previous marriage.
While some tabloids have questioned whether McCready actually been somehow involved in her boyfriend's death, perhaps because he was cheating on her, the singer is adamant that she had no hand in his death.

Sadly, Mindy McCready will have to live with the fact that the father of one of her children committed suicide. As for the rumors that Wilson was having an affair, though she is not completely sure, she believes that he was faithful to her and their family. To her, David Wilson was her “soul mate”
