Mindy McCready’s funeral was held in Fort Myers, Florida on Tuesday, ABC reported on Feb. 26.
Family, friends and fans of the singer all gathered to celebrate her life, and mourn her tragic death.
About 200 people were in attendance for Mindy McCready’s funeral at the Crossroads Baptist Church. The “Ten Thousand Angels” committed suicide at her Arkansas home on Feb. 17, shocking those closest to her, and her fans.
The 37-year-old mother of two died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, just one month after boyfriend, David Wilson, also took his own life.
Mindy McCready’s funeral was open to the public, as many fans also gathered to say goodbye to the country singer.
Mindy’s two sons are currently in foster care, and were not with her mother at the time of her death. McCready had battled addiction for years, and had been in out of rehab several times, the latest was just days before her death.
