Mindy McCready is dead in an alleged suicide, People Magazine reported on Feb. 17. The country singer, and mother of two, reportedly killed herself just weeks after her the father of her youngest son, David Wilson, took his own life.
According to the report, McCready is survived by sons Zander, 6, and Zayne, 10 months. The singer is best known for her hit album, "Ten Thousand Angels," which launched her career.
However, in the following years, Mindy McCready became more well known for her personal struggles than for her music. Her death by alleged suicide has shocked her fans greatly.
McCready was recently ordered into a treatment facility for alcohol addiction, and mental health issues. Meanwhile, her two sons were placed in foster care.
