When we hear the word mind, one might think of thinking, learning, and brain. In recent years, we have come to find that mind is a little more powerful than just being smart; we have learned that the mind can also heal. The other day a friend of mine asked me, how someone can be a healer without using medicine? The answer is meditation, and thinking positively. I did not see this myself I would also question this.
Have you ever been sad, and felt like the whole world might be against you? Because no matter what you do, how hard you try, there is nothing going right. Here is my question to you, what happens next? Only you can answer that to yourself. On the flip side, have you had times where you were so happy there was nothing that could go wrong? And what happened next? Most often what happens is life continues to get better, not always, but most times. Negative attracts negative, and positive attracts positive. Rule to live by, math 101.
I am not saying the mind can cure everything, but it can sure make things less stressful. Try this simple exercise daily and I would love to hear your feedback in a couple of weeks. Everyday, I would like you to take 5 to 10 minutes a day, be in a quiet place, close your eyes and think of nothing. Just focus on your breath. You can also light a candle, play some nice music, and tap in to you. The results are surprising.
