Mimoco adds to MimoBot flash drives with new MimoPower recharger line

These break down into BatteryBot character-based rechargeable backup batteries for smartphones, tablets and mobile devices, and cylindrical MimoPower 2600 single cell rechargeable backup batteries serving the same functions.

“We’ve had the Mimobot flash drives for nine years—and they’ve done their part,” said Mimoco operations manager Don Urbano. “It was time for a new product.”

Available in July, the BatteryBots are the result of a successful Kickstarter campaign last year that in July will yield 10 initial designs from Mimoco’s Animal Critterz and Core Series collections, together with licensed Star Wars (Darth Vader and R2-D2) and Adventure Time (Finn, Jake and BMO) characters.

The first eight MimoPower 2600 designs are already out and include the CrayOn—which looks like a crayon—and Powersavers, which resembles a roll of Lifesavers candy.
