Mimi Faust confirms that she and K. Michelle had an altercation in New York City earlier this week. Speaking out Thursday, Feb. 21, Faust says the R&B singer has a long standing streak of being violent instead of trying to talk things out on "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta."
"Recalling all of the past incidents with K. Michelle and other cast members, she never seems to wants to talk things out; the end results are always violent. That's not the type of person I am and to continue to fight with K. Michelle would have been pointless," Faust said in a statement Thursday.
As widely reported, K. Michelle allegedly slapped Mimi Faust after she was confronted about statements that she made about Faust's boyfriend on the radio show "The Breakfast Club."
"We're like into the sixth episode. I have just cursed everybody out. I'm just done. Mimi has a new boyfriend. I think he's down low. No one can take that from me. That's my opinion," K. Michelle told "The Breakfast Club."
While it's unclear what Mimi Faust said to her, her rep says K. Michelle hit Mimi Faust with flowers instead of talking things out. The rep also insists that Mimi Faust was not injured during the altercation and did not seek treatment for an alleged busted eardrum.
It's unclear if the incident was recorded, but "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" is due to return later this year on VH1.
