Milwaukee prosecutor dismisses Montel Williams pipe charge

MADISON: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that Milwaukee County prosecutors have dismissed a papaphernalia charge against Montel Willians as "not provable". The charge was filed after TSA screeners found a pipe in Williams's luggage. Williams had been in Wisconsin receiving treatments at the University of Wisconsin medical school in Madison. Williams had retained a lawyer and planned to take the case to trial before the decision. Tests determined the pipe had no illegal residue.

Williams, a Navy veteran and talk show host who suffers from multiple sclerosis has been a suporter of medical cannabis as an MS treatment. He recently appeared on the "Dr. Oz" tv show on a segment featuring medical cvannabis.
