Yesterday morning, Aug. 29, Milwaukee film announced the upcoming film festival's short film program, Shorter is Better. This program features over 60 shorts from across the globe divided into eight themed mini-programs, providing audiences a chance to see great work in shorts and get a first look at future feature directors.
Shorts Programmer & Development Coordinator Anna Sampers says,
The short film format has always been the place to find truly remarkable and inventive storytelling. And the film festival is not just your best chance to see them how they were meant to be seen — in a theater — but oftentimes the only way you can see them at all!
Half of the themed mini-programs are annual festival favorites: Date Night, Let's Get Animated, Out of This World, and The Best Damn F*#@ing Midnight Program Ever. Sh*t. In addition to these favorites, Milwaukee Film has added new programs: ...Make Lemonade, Modern Families, Obsession, and the short documentary collection Stranger Than Fiction.
SHORTER IS BETTER LINE-UP:
Shorts: The Best Damn F*#@ing Midnight Program Ever. Sh*t.
