It appears that Minnesota Timberwolves second-round pick Nemanja Bjelica is not the only new acquisition by Spanish club, Caja Laboral.

According to The Hoops Market, Caja Laboral will be bringing in Marcus Haislip, a former first-round draft choice of the Milwaukee Bucks, to fill the void left by the departure of Lior Eliyahu, who recently joined Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Drafted 13th overall in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Bucks, Haislip could never quite develop into the athletic post player that many expected him to be.

After two lackluster years with Milwaukee and a short stint with the Indiana Pacers, Haislip headed overseas, where he has become one of the top forwards in Euroleague competition.

In 2005-06, Haislip played for Ulkerspor of the Turkish Basketball League and selected to the TBL All-Star game that season.

Haislip then moved on and enjoyed a productive year with Turkish powerhouse Efes Pilsen and then two seasons with Spanish ACB club Unicaja Malaga.

Following the five seasons abroad, Haislip returned to the United States after signing a contract with the San Antonio Spurs for the 2009-10 seasons; however, the homecoming was short lived as he was waived by the Spurs after 10 games.

Haislip then joined Greek League club Panathinaikos where he averaged 6.0 ppg and 3.2 rpg in 5 Euroleague games.
