Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails Hosts A Spring Wine Dinner

Springtime is blooming at Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails! The restaurant is celebrating the start of the season with a special winemaker’s dinner on the first official day of spring, Thursday, March 20. The Spring & Vine dinner prepared by executive chef Derek Dollar includes a delicious farm-to-table, four-course meal paired with Educated Guess wines, including:

First Course

Beet-cured salmon with scarlet gem lettuce, honey-champagne

vinaigrette and pistachio-goat cheese fritter

Second Course

Sweet tea-brined honey-glazed pork loin with blue cheese-sweet potato mash and

buttermilk-Vidalia onion puree

Third Course

Smoked filet mignon with mushroom and spring onion barley risotto, cured bacon, Swiss

chard, merchant wine veal jus

Fourth Course

Spiced pear cake with cinnamon caramel and crème fraiche ice cream

Michael McNeill, master sommelier and director of wine education for Quality Wine & Spirits, will be on hand to educate guests and answer questions about each wine pairing.
