Milly for Banana Republic

Milly designer Michelle Smith is collaborating with international brand Banana Republic. The fashion line is slated to launch in the May at select locations around the world.

Michelle Smith is working with the Banana Republic design team to create a 60+ item line for both men and women. The line will feature Smith's signature bold colours and preppy, yet chic, prints. Though she has never created a menswear line, Banana Republic has both mens' and womens' clothing, and at the urging of the Banana Republic creative directors she agreed to design a mens line. The creative director's are hoping that the men's line will open up Smith's fashion designs and allow her to carry men's clothing within the Milly brand.

The line will be more affordably priced than Smith's normals lines with Milly. Women's clothes will range between $45-$175, men's between $25-$65, and the accessories between $40-$130 - all items are priced within Banana Republic's normal price range.

For official details regarding the collaboration, keep an eye on the Banana Republic website.
