Graham Hill used to live the life one would expect of a rich guy, in a Seattle mansion full of upgrades and perks. These days, however, the millionaire's 420 square foot New York City apartment is where he calls home, and he seems to embrace it. He was featured on “Today” on March 21 showcasing his simplified, minimalist lifestyle.
Hill founded the website TreeHugger.com, and he previously sold a tech-start up for millions back in the 1990s. While he used to have all that money could buy, these days he has chosen to minimize his stuff and maximize his experiences and relationships. Though the millionaire's 420 square foot apartment sounds like it would be impossible to enjoy, Graham Hill showed in the video above that he actually has a very well-thought out space that is likely the envy of many in NYC.
The minimalist lifestyle Graham Hill embraces isn't for everybody, but he certainly makes it look appealing in a way. As he notes, the millionaire's 420 square foot apartment and minimal belongings keep life simple. People seem to be a bit stunned, however, that someone with so much money would choose to live such a basic life. Could you see yourself making this choice?
