Tonight's Bravo episode of "Millionaire Matchmaker," is titled “Kid in a Candy Store and Groundhog Day.”
As the episode begins, Patti is meeting with her staff. David has Stefan Richter, a chef Patti knows very well. She calls him the kid in the candy store because he goes from one woman to another and believes that because he is a chef, all the women will bow down at his feet. Marissa has Brian Minter, who grew up in Michigan. He lives in Vegas and dates cocktail waitresses, and his celebrity crush is Kate Upton. He was in a serious relationship for three years and now wants someone to spend the rest of his life with. He continues to do the same thing over and over, expecting different results.
Patti met with Stefan, who is 41, born in Finland, grew up in Germany and appeared on Top Chef season five. He also has a home in Finland, and wants a woman who will share his love of the outdoors and enjoys a beer and a sauna. Patti was brutally honest with Stefan and now swears he has changed. She called him a douche and brought in two elderly men who had lots of experience in love, but were now alone. She told him that this was his future, unless he changed.
She then met with Brian Minter. He has everything he could ever want except a woman to share it with. He wants a woman with passion, that he can spend the rest of his life with. She told him to stop looking for a woman with his penis and start using his brain.
As Patti and her crew interviewed the women, they spotted several who were good matches for both men. At the mixer, Stefan came in chewing gum, and she reprimanded him for not being serious. So Patti hooked him up with an earpiece, but he ignores her directions and finally removes the earpiece. She then reprimanded him in front of the women because he would not compliment one of them. Finally, he listened to Patti and started acting like a gentleman.
They each chose two women, and it was not easy. Brian chose Aubrey, and Stefan chose Emma.
Brian took Aubrey to RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen and met her with a bouquet of flowers. She loves sports, and their hockey connection was what attracted him to her. They had a nice lunch and were off to the next adventure.
Stefan took Emma up to the Pacific coast in his VW camper. He lit a fire on the beach, but the wind was blowing and Emma felt like she was being set on fire. So they walked along the beach and talked.
For Brian and Aubrey’s next adventure, they went rock climbing at an indoor facility and surprisingly, neither had ever done it before. She did not tell him that she was deathly afraid of heights, but up she went and had fun.
Stefan and Emma had lunch on the beach in Malibu where he cut up salmon that he brought in a cooler and made sashimi for them.
When Patti called Emma the next day, she told her that the date was nothing special, and she felt that he has never courted anyone. So they brought Stefan in to see Patti. Stefan is blind and Patti told him that he had to step away from his ego and do something that the girl likes, not only what he wants to do. So she ordered him to go on another date with Emma and woo her.
Then they called Aubrey, who had an awesome date. She really liked him and wants to see him again. When they called Brian, he was a different person, and did not experience the usual Groundhog Day on this date.
Stefan and Emma have been in touch with one another. Emma has not yet agreed to another date with Stefan.
Brian and Aubrey have been seeing each other steadily. Brian has entered a new, happier Groundhog Day cycle.
