Military1Click.com founder nominated for 2013 Military Spouse of the year; vote

Jennifer Pilcher of Military1Click.com has been nominated for the 2013 Military Spouse of the year and she needs your support.

Helping out at squadron functions, attending national milspouse events, and promoting veteran-owned businesses are just a few of the things that make Jennifer Pilcher an outstanding military spouse.

"[Being a military spouse] means to be a "normal spouse" with "extraordinary circumstances" dealing with deployments, moving, home-comings, military kids, new jobs, new friends....all the highs and lows of life surrounded by an extended military family that just gets it," Pilcher says about what it means to her to be a military spouse.

Finding relevant information in the military and veteran community can sometimes be a hard task for service members. That problem led Jennifer and her team to develop Military1Click.com a go to source of information for military service members and their families. Launched in early 2012 the site has grown and continues to do so as more and more active duty service members and veterans visit the site when looking for military and veteran related news and events.

EXCLUSIVE:

"My specific goal is to continue working on improving military spouse employment which is at an all time high of 26% unemployment," Jennifer said.

Military Spouse magazine founded this awarded in 2008 to honor military spouses of all ranks and from all branches of service. Being a military spouse is a tough job as service members leave home for deployments and everything at home falls into the care of these spouses.

VOTE for Jennifer Pilcher as 2013 Military Spouse of the year.
