Military photography contest-Serving Abroad…Through Their Eyes

President’s Day, February 20, will be the last day for submissions to the overseas service photography project, “Serving Abroad…Through Their Eyes”.

Active and former members of the United States military, including Foreign Service and Civil Service members, are asked to submit photos “depicting daily life, friendship, places, faces, loss or triumph of overseas service since 2000”.

Winning entries will be posted online.

Selected photographs will be displayed in a special photography exhibition planned for the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Pentagon and other prominent venues, stateside and overseas.

The best in show honorees will be recognized in the nation’s capital this fall.

Submissions should be made to http://www.ourmilitary.mil.
