Most Americans schoolkids have never even heard of Chièvres, Belgium; Okinawa, Japan; or Manama, Bahrain, but for the children of members of the US Armed Forces those are more than familiar mailing addresses. And as dozens of American kids stationed in Spain were caught demonstrating on digital, just because the US is an ocean away, that hardly is a damper for their patriotism, as reported by the right-of-center The Blaze on April 5, 2014, and Britain's the Daily Mail on April 7, 2014.

With April designated by the Department of Defense as "The Month of the Military Child," Hannah Kunze, the manager of the before-and-after school program aboard the US Naval Station Rota, Spain recently treated forty of the 5 to 12-year-old children in her charge to the base movie theater to catch an afternoon show.

As per usual for every military base theater throughout the world, before the the start of the featured film, The Star Spangled Banner is presented on screen.

With the youngsters enrolled being the children of the base's sailors, Marines, and airmen, Kunze stated "without being asked" they "belt out our National Anthem with their hands on their hearts."

Knowing good and well that military families routinely pack-up and move every 2-4 years, the program manager also stated:

It gives you chills to see patriotism like this displayed in youth at such a young age. Our kids know what it is to have daily sacrifices for our country.

They know no other life then the one they have, but they are happy children living happy lives.
