Miley takes off ring and the paparazzi snaps a ton of pictures, making some question whether she is still engaged to Liam Hemsworth. According to ABC News on March 8, Miley Cyrus said she has not called off her engagement, despite the rumors to the contrary.
Cyrus also seemed exasperated at the publicity and showed her overdramatic side by proclaiming she was sick of the lies that come with being in L.A. She went on to say she was taking a break from social media because it was draining and hopes that her new music will "shut everyone up."
The rumor mills started when photos shows that Miley took off her ring when heading to a recording studio to work on her new album. Instead of the engagement ring, she was wearing different jewelry.
It didn't help when a source told People magazine that Cyrus still wants to marry Liam, despite the fact they have different personalities and different backgrounds. The source called the relationship "complicated."
So, Miley takes off ring and the rumor mills go crazy. Is there anything to these new rumors since Miley is acting so defensive, or is there nothing to it other than people just overreacting to simple photographs?
