Miley Cyrus unveils new song, does her best Britney Spears impression

Miley Cyrus: shocking, indeed.

Miley Cyrus unveiled her new song "Can't Be Tamed" on Friday, and judging by the sound and the lyrics alone, it looks like she may be going the way of another former Disney Channel star in Britney Spears. Miley -- who is a favorite of young audience everywhere thanks to "Hannah Montana" -- sings (well, sort of -- there's an auto-tune involved) about how she won't "be changed" by any man she meets up with. The backing music is synth-heavy, a staunch departure from her recent hit "Party in the U.S.A."

The big question for Miley with this song is if she is alienating herself from a younger fan base that is used to a cleaner sort of image from the singer. Some of the lyrics may cause a few parents to raise their eyebrows, and the musical style itself may sound a bit too similar like everything else that is on the radio.
