Miley Cyrus is still riding the wave of controversy with an overseas performance in Germany.
According to Radar Online on Monday, Cyrus performed on German television show Schlag Den Raab over the weekend with an unorthodox band choice.
A group comprised of little people joined Cyrus for a performance of “We Can’t Stop” on the show’s stage.
The band was shadowed in smoke while Cyrus slunk around the stage in heels, jacket, sleeveless top and cutoff jean shorts.
She towered over her only backup dancer, a blonde dwarf, and spanked her backside during the performance which was meant to be playful but may be a bit overdone. Then she did the quintessential tongue wag while kneeling to dance with the band’s guitarist.
The smoke rose during her performance, which covered the band completely by the end of the set
All five of the musicians appeared to have dwarfism, defined as an adult who is 4’ 10” or less. The condition can cause disproportionate body limbs including shortened arms and legs, disproportionately large head and bowed legs. Not all people with dwarfism have disproportionate body parts according to the Mayo Clinic
Cyrus’s performance at MTV’s Video Music Awards featured African American background dancers whose backsides she also fondled while twerking to the same song.
