Miley Cyrus was recently admitted to the hospital, however even with the emergency visit she was able to take to Twitter to let her fans know what's going on and what would happen to her Kansas City concert.

"Kansas I promise Im as (emoticon broken heart) as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night." ~Miley Cyrus Not waiting for her team she wanted to be the one to break the news to her fans first tweeting,

"I can't get a hold of my team because it is so early so I want to be the one to tell my fans especially the ones trekking to get there(tbc)."

Her concert in Charlotte was cancelled due to the flu, while some reports are a sinus infection. Apparently her hospital stay was a result of an allergic reaction to the antibiotic Cephalexin which was prescribed to her during that time.

Her publicist says Cyrus is on "medical rest" at her doctors advice. Tickets to the concert at Kansas City, MO Sprint Center are being refunded and the ScottTrade Center in St. Louis concert has also been cancelled.

Rumors are out there that this was actually a result of the loss of her dog. Reports say she was terribly upset about his death and that led to health problems, which led to antibiotics and then hospitalization. (see video for TMZ report)

Will Bangerz fans be banging their heads against their laptops and smartphones as it looks like more concerts could be cancelled? Apparently it could take up to 27 days to recover from this allergic reaction so if you have tickets to an upcoming concert and aren't following her carefully on Twitter now is a good time to.

"Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans," her rep said. in a Huffington Post report.
