Miley Cyrus has spoken out in an attempt to put a stop to this horrifying new Twitter trend, a trend that involves self-described Justin Bieber fans cutting their selves and mutilating their bodies after seeing the recent photos the "Baby" hit maker smoking pot.
The hashtag #cut4bieber has become the top U.S. trend on Twitter according to the celebrity news site and has gone viral just hours after Justin Bieber fans began posting photos featuring bleeding arms, allegedly the result of "cutting" by disappointed fans looking to pressure the singer into giving up his pot habit.
Sadly, one fan even went as far as starting an entire Internet website that is encouraging Justin Bieber fans to cut themselves and post their photos online as a form of intervention for Justin Bieber to give up his pot smoking ways for good.
Former "Hannah Montana " star Miley Cyrus, who has had her own media issues with "bong smoking" spoke out about her concerns on the new disturbing Twitter trend cut for Bieber -- retweeting a messaging saying:
"#cut4bieber? Cutting is NOT something to joke about. There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful."
So far Justin Bieber, nor his reps have spoken out on the alarming cut for Bieber Twitter trend.
