Lindsay Lohan introduced Cyrus on Friday night, displaying her affection telling the crowd "love that Cyrus is being herself." A video montage of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" introduced Cyrus' to the 20,000 + fans anticipating her arrival.
Cyrus wearing a shimmery red midriff holiday themed Christmas ensemble opened her act with "Party in the U.S.A." As the dancers continue to dress in their reindeer outfits along side a holiday Christmas tree, Cyrus performed her recent hits "We Can't Stop" and "Get It Right" before doing a live cover of Lana Del Ray's massive hit "Summertime Sadness."
Her performance set transitioned to her new single "Adore You" before closing the 2013 Jingle Ball with her Number 1 hit "Wrecking Ball."
The 2013 Z100 Jingle Ball also featured Robin Thicke, Pitbull, Fall Out Boy, Ariana Grande, Jason DeRulo, Paramore, Austin Mahone, Enrique Iglesias, Fifth Harmony and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. This year's show was live streamed on Yahoo! Screen and WHTZ Z100/New York's iHeart Radio for the first time in its' history.
Jingle Ball mission, says Poleman, remains unchanged. “Jingle Ball's mission remains unchanged. We want to put the biggest names on one stage. When a Miley Cyrus breaks out, we want her — and the artists are all glad to do it.
