News that Cyrus and Bieber have recorded the song together, which also features Bieber's friend, Lil Twist.
"Twerk," is said to be an up-tempo track which has been produced by Meajor Ali. The song hasn't been officially released yet. Miley has been heard singing, "I came up in the party, time to twerk," with Bieber than singing, "Lemme see you get out on the floor, girl. We gonna party ‘til it's over." The dance term "Twerk," has been officially added to the Oxford dictionary, and is defined as "dancing to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance."
The New York Daily News has confirmed the new song, "Twerk," by Cyrus and Bieber has leaked. The song "Twerk," is said to been in the works since July. To confirm the trio’s collaboration, Twist first tweeted the cover art for the single on July 6. The cover of "Twerk" shows Cyrus dressed as a unicorn in sexually provocative manner. Cyrus, who has been gaining new fans and critics with her innovative and controversial twerking, appears to be making entertainment history along with Bieber and Twist.
