The new U.S. tour dates are as follows: August 1 - Uniondale, NY; August 2 - Philadelphia, PA; August 4 - Pittsburgh, PA; August 6 - Charlotte, NC; August 7 - Nashville, TN; August 9 - Louisville, KY; August 10 - St. Louis, MO; August 12 - Kansas City, MO; and August 14 - Chicago, IL. Her European tour dates, which are scheduled to kick off on May 2 will not be affected.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer is currently in the hospital due to a severe allergic reaction. According to an official statement which she posted on April 17, Cyrus explained why she had to cancel her show in Kansas City. "Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin which shes now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to. This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases."

Rumors have floated around about why Cyrus really ended up in the hospital. Some bloggers speculated that she had gotten an STD. Another rumor suggested that her rumored boyfriend, Mike WiLL Made It, knowingly gave her something that would make her sick.

Gossip Cop shot down the rumor, arguing that certain media outlets were just trying to "create drama," and that Cyrus and Mike WiLL Made It were not even dating. The rapper himself took to Twitter to address these allegations. "Yall sound crazy.. Me doin something to @MileyCyrus is like me doin something to myself.. Luv her like she my blood.. Get well soon MC'z."

The "Adore You" singer wanted to make sure her fans weren't swayed by these hurtful allegations surrounding her hospitalization. As she tweeted, "So many ignorant stories out there no one is reading the official statement and these dumb asses are scaring my fans. Please read official...shut the f--k up & let me heal. stop scaring my family, friends, & fans. OFFICIAL STATEMENT."

Cyrus also addressed accusations that she was letting her fans down by canceling her shows. She made it very clear that she wanted nothing more than to be on stage. As she tweeted, "humans can b so selfish. if any1 thinks id rather b layin n a hospital bed than doing what i love on stage they're f-n LAME. im miserable."
